Well, I find myself in the Lexington, Ky. area for a few weeks due to work. I flew into Loiusville today and drove over (to fly into Lex it was over $300 more, and the drive was less than an hour and a half). Nice area, though fairly busy for a Sunday.

My name is Amah, and I am a Rottweiler. First a little history of the Rottweiler:

Alrighty. Mel tagged me a few days ago, but I've been procrastinating about writing this article. Why? Eh, I don't know, sometimes I feel I'm more interested in politics than I am in myself. Politics affects so many more people.

OK, Mel tagged me. So here I go.

Here on the vine there is a little game of "tag" going on. The game works like this. There is a newsvine group "8 Things You Don't Know". Someone from this group tags you and your are to to write an article "8 things you don't know about me" then post it to your column.

I was tagged by Melissa and have been pondering this ever since (a day or two). There is so much to tell it's hard to limit it to 8 things

Ok, so I guess in the wonderful month of July while I was sweating my fat ass off in Fort Dix, New Jersey. A lot of my buddies here on the vine where playing a game of tag with 8 things people don't know about them.

So if you don't know yet, there's this "meme" thing going around: 8 Things.
The Eightfold Way:
Order: Proclaim the Eightfold Way.
Enlightenment: Reveal 8 mysteries regarding yourself -- your Pieces of 8.

First things first:

Wow, I was starting to feel left out until aprilbd tagged me.
OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES:

I touched on this before with this space shuttle question but going through some
writing archives I found a better questionaire.
As with yesterday's 50 word exercise I'm tagging and clipping this to 8 things because it
seems to me a logical progression.

1. Post these rules before you give the facts.
2. Players start with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
4.

Here's a new writing assignment which is also a good way to analyze oneself.
Sum yourself up in 50 words or less.
Then sum up how others view you in 50 words or less.
I'm tagging and clipping this to 8 things because it seems like a logical progression

OK, I'll play along.
1. Post these rules before delving into the meat. 2. Players start with eight random facts/habits about themselves. 3. People who are tagged need to write their own article about their eight things and post these rules. 4.
