The Vine

Limited Newsvine Activity

I had an unpleasant experience with Newsvine Friday PM October 16, 2009. The web site "hung" repeatedly, and I suspect that the electronic malfunctions are damaging my software in my computer.

What?

What topics on the vine do you like to comment on most? I am sure that everyone jumps around but do you have a favorite? Lately, I have grown bored of politics and business, you know the serious stuff.

Priorities. Are Yours in Order?

I have been noticing the patter of views on my articles. Why is it that people would rather read an article about Japan refusing to sell rape games rather than informaion on colleges and scholarships? Is there no one looking for a higher education or help doing so?

How I Think The Constitution Can Be Fixed (Part I: The Problem)

I have said many times over many years that I think that The Constitution of The United States is broken. I have recently been asked to give specific examples of what I mean when I say that. This is, of course, a very fair question to ask.

Few Verses from the Quran to Reflect on

[16:125] Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful speech. [30:58] Thus, we have cited for the people in this Quran all kinds of examples. Yet, no matter what kind of proof you present to the disbelievers, they say, "You are falsifiers."

Where Are All The Articles And Seeds?

Has this ever happened to you? You come back to the computer to check for comments, messages, and the tally of those Articles and Seeds you have, only to find everything has just disappeared?

Clipping- A Question From A Newbie.

I am new to this, and recently had a friend ask if i minded them clipping an article or seed to another column or group. i said not at all, go for it.

Honesty and Fair dealing. Few lessons about business in the Quran

Honesty is a very important quality which the Quran requires of all of the believers. Muslims are taught in the Quran many important values which are greatly benificial to humanity ( as a whole ). Lets look at a few verses.

Interesting news headlines are tough to come by. We as writers, Strive for the creation of sensational headlines. In our attempt to lure readers to an article that we feel may have value, We sometimes lose the intended message in the creative script of the Head Line.

Rush, Hannity & Beck What ARE they trying to do?

The republicans great hopes this weekend. Rush and a little boy? This is the best they could come up with? All we hear from the majority of the TV media is BLAME. One side blaming the other.

Would you sell your privacy for financial gain? (QD-1)

Question of The Day (QD-1) How much do you really value your privacy? Seeing the lady hawking her story on television regarding her eight new babies, it made me wonder. I guess she needs every penny she can get to look after them, but is such intrusion advisable?

Reading Comprehension is a Lost Art

When was the last time a school taught reading comprehension? I can distinctly remember being taught how to think critically; how to mentally digest what I was reading. Has that gone out the window in favor of teaching kids how to take a test?

Article Ideas, Anyone?

One of the problems with having a wide variety of interests is picking topics for articles. At least, that's one of my problems. So I decided to ask - what topics are you interested in seeing articles on? I don't care how random a topic you suggest.
