6:00 pm: No. 10 Texas vs. No. 2 Kansas – ESPN: This is what we all wanted — the rematch. Texas went into Phog Allen Fieldhouse back in January and, despite digging themselves an 18-3 hole, were able to come away with a 74-63 victory. The win legitimized the Longhorns as a title contender, and while some of that sentiment had been swept away thanks to a late season swoon, UT allowed an average of 56 points in wins over Oklahoma and Texas A&M. Unfortunately for us, the Kansas State lost to Colorado in the Big 12 quarterfinals, which eliminated the possibility of a Jayhawk-Wildcat battle for a trip to the finals.
