This will most likely turn out to be not such a big deal.

      Citizen James

It's painfully obvious that the world isn't prepared to give Microsoft their marching orders, in terms of their OS dominance, otherwise incidents like this, which are a direct result of Windows' poorly written foundations, wouldn't go unpunished.

If their users genuinely cared enough to send Microsoft a message, that this sort of bi-monthly vulnerability is utterly unacceptable, and to show their disgust they switched en-mass to Mac OS X or Linux, Microsoft would have no choice but to respond.

As it is, all they seem interested in doing, is slapping a bit of paint on their interface and stealing features from Apple's Aqua and taking their time about releasing it, to create the illusion they're genuinely trying to make Vista a good reason to replace XP and the hardware that runs it.

Sadly, as a diversionary tactic, it seems to be doing the trick - simply going to prove that the world has never been more full of idiots.
