It's great to see a real "World" series -- perhaps this event will become like the World Cup.

This is nothing more than Bud Selig trying to create a memorial to himself. If this was a real "World Series" then it would entail at least 5 games series played by players who are doing more than building up their arm strength and getting their eye in.

    Maybe you're right, but it is a good start - I suppose they may just be testing the waters with this. Perhaps they will play Series next time around. Anyway, it's great to see an international competition.
