Wilson said Sunday that Bush and Cheney should release transcripts of their interviews with Fitzgerald.
"We ought to get to the bottom of it so it can be evaluated by the American people," said Sen. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Enough of the bluffing: Let's see what everybody's got.
this move gives me a little more faith in the government.
well here from the bush in a week or so, once rover has had a chance to make sure that all the lies line up.
the really sad part about this whole thing is that they might just get away with it.
Oh, they will get away with it. There is no doubt in my mind. Enron/Halliburton are way to oily to let this stick.
I thought it was Fitzgerald's obligation to get to the bottom of it all. Does Arlen Specter not trust Fitzgerald? Why would he second-guess the Special Counsel and demand transcripts of what he has been told? Fitzgerald's job is to get the facts and summarize them. This is getting ridiculous.
As for John Kerry's nonsensical quotes, we shouldn't have expected intelligent remarks from him in the first place.

I have since had the opportunity to see a replay of "Meet the Press" on MSNBC and I apologize to Sen. Kerry. He was badly misquoted in the referenced article. When taken in context and using his complete sentences, he went into a better explanation of why he made those claims. But it would take a Newsvine junkie to understand them, whether they agreed with him or not.
while nice to see some checks and balances
i wounder if anything would have been said had this not been an election year.
Plus easy to demand answers for the least likely to be criminal offence.
you'll see more of this as the year goes on i bet...
