Alright, I'm totally for this company. Although the world is full of wonderful, special, and magnificent people, there are far too many crooks out there too. As I'm getting ready to open an on-line store within the next year, I can fully respect companies like Receivable Management Services, and standby them 100%.
In fact I'm bookmarking this article to come back and review some of the merchants tactics. I do agree if the purchase was a defective item, or what you received was not the correct item or not as it was advertised you should absolutely be able to return it for a refund. But keeping the item, and trying not to pay for it no matter what the reason is simply dishonest!
It's absurd that businesses on the internet require customers to offer their account information in order to make a purchase. There are other options which need to be expanded. Paypal, for instance is an organization which will convey payment to a third party, without the release of any information which would allow the customer to be charged again by mistake.
The businesses are not in the position to play the victim here... That's also absurd. They are the ones with the power, in the situation. They can redesign their internet software, their policies, the way they do business with the customer.
