Angelina Jolie, left, and Brad Pitt attend a session of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on Jan. 26, 2006. The couple will give the world its first peek at their newborn daughter by releasing photos of Shiloh Nouvel, with profits going to charity. The images, taken at a private photo shoot, will be distributed by Getty Images, the photo agency said Monday, June 5, 2006. (AP Photo/Keystone, Walter Bieri)

I've always liked Angelina Jolie. She makes a refreshing change from all the other Hollywood celebs in the spotlight and the idea of donating the proceeds from the photographs is a great idea. I wish them well.

I can't tell if they are cool and using their celeb for good. Or if its plain old fashioned Hollywood attention whoring.

When you say crazy you have to recall that this "lady" used to wear Billy Bob Thorton's blood in a vial around her neck.

Nothing would surprise me at this point.

Can you say... crazy?

I can, but I'm not sure I would in this instance.

I can't tell if they are cool and using their celeb for good. Or if its plain old fashioned Hollywood attention whoring.

While Pitt may be harder to gauge, Jolie seems to have a pretty great track record with humanitarian efforts. I think it's acceptable to drop the skepticism in her case, and I'm willing to extend Pitt the benefit of the doubt by association.

When you say crazy you have to recall that this "lady" used to wear Billy Bob Thorton's blood in a vial around her neck.

Yes, that's crazy. Much like drinking wine and pretending as though you're drinking the blood of christ. Or, you could see it as a symbol. (More importantly, you could exercise the popular saying: Different Strokes for Different Folks.) If we called everyone crazy by the things they did or believed, a great percentage of the world's population would be @!$%#ing nutters.

title should have included "for charity" unlike alot of other stars.

Agreed, perhaps then some of the comments wouldn't appear as though they were typed out after reading nothing but "Pitt and Jolie to Sell Baby Photos" and would rather reflect the great good that the sale of these photos will generate.

(With the exception of KayJay, who clearly read the entire article.)

Any way to redirect funds and energy from the ridiculousness of celebrity worship to a more worthwhile cause is alright with me. I'd rather that some idiot buying a copy of People magazine is indirectly funding a charitable cause... not People magazine.

I love those two. They're a role model for all the other celebrarities that just spend all their money buying crap they don't need without giving back to charities.

Plus they force the tabloids to talk about important stuff, instead of the stupid crap they cover everyday...they were all warming up to spend millions to get "exclusive photos" of the baby, only to be bitchslapped in the face by the couple, because they will use the money from the photos for good (charity).

    In your face, E! Entertainment

Selling out their childs photos seems like they are feeding a already obessive media monster.

But heck, its for charity so some good could come out of this.

I tried to sell my baby's photos but, for some strange reason, there wasn't a real big market. Even with the grandparents' contributions, the "Baby Rohl College Fund" charity could still use some help.
