He died what he loved doing.
What?
he loved what he died loving. What?
English language is a difficult thing to comprehend?
I am an avid scuba diver, I am not a technical diver like mr Bright. But I share his passion for maritime history. I am sadend by this news of his untimely passing! Mr Bright passed while scuba diving on the mt "Everest of wreck dives" I hope that his family can respect his passion for the underwater world. Rest in peace eternal dive buddy!!
This is sad. DCS is something we hardly understand. Pioneers, like Bright, contribute great work toward understanding the effects of pressure on the human body. It is sadly ironic that he went the way he did.
I am very sorry to hear this news. I didn't Know David Bright, but recently emailed with him several times. My neighbour , Agatha Mannolini Grant, who also passed away a few weeks ago was an Andrea Doria Survivor and she gave me her newsclippings, ticket and dress she was wearing the night the ship was wrecked. I was hoping to arrange a loan or gift to David's Museum. I found him to be a very nice man and really hoped we could work out plans for people to see these amazing things. My condolences to his Wife and family. What a huge loss.

Sorry to hear of this loss for his family and for the diving community. I have dived the Andrea Doria and can appreciate his passion for shipwrecks and the type of diving he performed. God bless and keep his family.
