Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Sen. Lautenberg shouldn't expect anyone in the Administration to loose their security clearences, since President Bush has most likely issued a "Signing Statement" to circumvent this issue. Thanks to Cheney and Addington the gang back at the White House is pointing at their Republican Congress and laughing the asses off.

Gee....what a shocker. Why would anyone think that the arrogant, pea-brained, "Decider" would ever hold that puffy little toad accountable for anything. W talked a lot about restoring accountability during the 2000 campaign, but so far I've only seen that manifest itself in his making it harder for the debt-ridden average Joe to declare bankruptcy. Being accountable for leaks, a bogus war, incompetency in letting a hurricane swallow a city, etc. is not in the Rovian playbook. The only thing more disgusting than this administration's policies was watching that fool gnaw on that roll like a savage. Although Merkel may have found that impromptu massage even more disgusting still. It absolutely defies reason that this cretin could be a two-term president. How embarrassing it is for our nation.

I don't think that he is a "two-term president." He is more like a "two-term DICTATOR!" It is more than "embarrassing!" It is dangerous, and very, very scary that our country stands on the precipice between what had been a healthy Democracy, and what it is today, a teetering "3rd World Fascistic State," if not a full blown "Dictatorship!"

Let me see if I have this straight...an employee of the CIA gets fired and losses her security clearance for pointing out on her blog that waterboarding is torture but no one gets fired or losses their security clearance for outing an undercover CIA agent. OK that makes as much sense as robbing a bank to make a deposit.

Dubya and his posse have no intention of answering to anyone, even our Supreme Court. The Dems & the press (save an occasional article form the Times) are letting them get away with butchering our Constitution, shooting bullet holes in our Bill of Rights (read the Patriot Act for more details), and dereliction of duty. Why won't someone in the White House Press Corp ask some hard questions? Are the afraid of not getting asked back or some other reason? Dubya is an embarrassment and the rest of the world is laughing off its collective asses. At no time have I seen more of unilateralism, greed, and disregard for common sense in a Presidency than this administration. Congress couldn't pass a bill to cure cancer without someone's pork being added as a rider. George Orwell was right but he missed it by 22 years. If Washington, D.C. isn't a poster child for term limits, I don't know what is.

Back when the Nazi was the Governor of Texas and somehow ended up in the Honky white house we Texans were happy that he was no longer going to screw up the state, but we were wrong, Perry continued to follow the same path of and the scrub Bush has led the country down the path of Jack Booted Nazi war mongers

Waaa..Two term president! Maybe you hippies should vote next time or else get comfortable with the fact that you are the minority.

Also, she wasn't covert, rather a pencil pusher.

Hey gvance, Quit lying. She was covert. The CIA says so. Do you have some sort of higher clearance that no one in the CIA has? Or are you just talking out of your ass? Just because you keep repeating the same lies (they found WMD's, global warming is a myth, Bush is a competent president, Jesus is coming soon, America is a democracy...) doesn't mean it's true.

Well, if she was "covert" within the last 5 years then Fitzgerald would have indicted someone for that offense. Apparently, she was just super secret to all who didn't have access to the Who's Who.

The did find some sarin shells in Iraq, but not much. Bush is an excellent president and was elected twice. Can you believe it! Can't comment on Jesus. The earth does tend to warm and cool all over the globe. America is Republic, so you are wrong on that one.

Otherwise, you are fairly accurate in your last sentence. Good job dread. Let's give you a ribbon for participation.

I'm proud to say I did see the Dead quite a few times gvance. Anyway, if you can type that Bush is "an excellent president" with a straight face, I'm afraid you are beyond intellectual repair. Christ, even my staunchest republican friends now concede what a freaking joke this ne'er-do-well has turned out to be. Please enlighten us as to all of the "excellent" accomplishments of this wonderful president. As to Plamegate, I'm sure your sentiments would be the same if a democratic administration had done the same thing...right? I can only imagine the diatribe of right-wing troglodytes such as yourself if the Clinton administration had pulled that kind of sh.t. Hell, a little head sent you people into Defcon 4. Anyway, don't want to take you away from Fox News any longer than necessary...carry on.

Not sure where you got Dead, but I have seen Jerry and the boys on 4 occasions. Good stuff.
Old Joe was already pinning his book when he went down to hang with his Niger buddies.
In fact, he was dropped by the Kerry campaign when they too realized what a liability that fraud was (not enough nuance for old Kerry).
Well, Clinton did give missile technology to the Chinese and reactors to the Koreans. Which tends to trump exposing some hack who was put up to a political task by some convenient democratic nepotism. The Senate intelligence report completely disproves Mr. Wilson and highlights his problems with the truth.
Grab yourself a copy. Clinton was simply an appeaser, when he wasn't a gettin' a pleased- er, patooiee.
It was pathethic to watch him get caught in a lie(impeached, and disbarred). No Defcon 4 buddy, you are thinking of Howard Dean.
His lack foreign policy and energy policy too, for that matter, has put us in a tricky position these days. Now we have a real leader that must make difficult tdecisions hat not everyone will be happy with. Big picture thinking, little guy. You sure like the biblical references. Are you more frightened of them or the Islamofacists?
I respect peaceful religions, but am not beholden to them.

                    3. Afghanistan
                    4. Iraq
                    5. Non sexual relations with Pakistan 6. And without him, we couldn't laugh at Cindy Shaheen, Jack Murtha, and the rest of your disoragnized, splintered, special interest party.

I totally disagree w/ most of the tripe you rattled off gvance, but you are funny. Yeah. Those Clinton years were a horrible time for the country and I probably should have known it was Bubba's handiwork that got us into all of the current crises facing the nation. Thank God we have such a thoughtful, sharp-mided, and decisive Decider to navigate us through these perilous times. Hooray for W!

P.S. I mentioned The Dead because of your earlier hippie blast. At least we can agree on them.
