Chris Cornell to Record Bond Movie Theme

Cornell will record the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film, "Casino Royale." Cornell's song, "You Know My Name," will open the movie, which marks Daniel Craig's debut as agent 007. It's nice to see Cornell get props for his solo work (assuming this song will truly be a solo effort). Although pretty much ignored and misunderstood by Soundgarden loyalists and the general listening public, Euphoria Morning, Cornell's first and only solo attempt is a catchy, sad, thoroughly melodic piece of work. Congrats, Chris. Maybe this will get you thinking about another record.

    I hope the song is good, I'm a big fan of Bond movie tunes. They set the tone for the movie, I think.
