"Although the main solution is for the elimination of the Zionist regime, at this stage an immediate cease-fire must be implemented," President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told the Organization of Islamic Conference — the Islamic world's largest grouping of countries.

I think this alone is enough reason for never giving in to a cease-fire demand. Especially if "President" Ahmadinejad wasn't booed for it by the so-called "moderates" in the Middle East. If that's what these "peace-loving" ass holes want, then why put off the fighting? So they can build more rockets? So they can get nuclear weapons and kill millions quickly? Or do they just want to wait until they have the advantage and the majority of the civilians dying are Israeli, European, or American?

I mean the alternate solution to Ahmadinejad's "main solution" is for the elimination of all the Arabs, if we're going to be as delicate as he is about it.

Can you imagine how much whining would go on if President Bush said that at a NATO conference? Or even in his sleep?

    Great post Matt.

I think people would get a lot further by stating truthful comments. Hizbollah started this war by attacking Israel's civilians. Hizbollah is the aggressor. Hizbollah fires rockets at Israeli citizens while hiding behind Lebanese citizens, using them as shields. Hizbollah is responsible for all the deaths on both sides. The war crimes are those of Hizbollah. Israel has every right to defend itself like any other country. Israel has over 1 million people forced from their homes (refugees as you call them). We should be saving the world from Hizbollah.

No matter how you feel about it, the truth is:
    * If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence.
    * If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel.
