Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

'Samuel Firman' (also known as Jerry Firman) is our very own Oldfogey. He has just received the RAV award for successfully entering a bid in the election.

There will be a lot more articles like this before the November elections. I hope my picture will be there in late September, and for our County Fair in October, and then November elections. It is true that Joy was the party chosen, it also true she has had personal troubles as well as political ones. AND it is true I still want her as a friend, just not my representative.

Good luck, oldfogey! I haven't supported a Republican for national office since Gerry Ford in 1976. But, based on the intelligence and wit that shows in your writing, if I lived in your district, I could see myself crossing that party line and happily casting a vote for a Representative I could truly respect.
