Ha! This happened in a neighborhood I used to live in. Some people from one of the townhouses put a No Parking sign in front of their house that they'd obviously stolen from somewhere else. It was dented, scuffed, and nailed to a telephone pole instead of being on a proper pole. The amazing thing is that people stopped parking there. I tore it down after a couple months. And people started parking there again. What sheep people are.

    baaaaaaaaa!!

if paying attention to a traffic sign -without having to psychoanalyze it for an hour in order to evaluate its veracity- so as to prevent my having to pay $40 (I'd rather spend on, hell, anything) OR $200 and an afternoon's frustration at the @!$%#ing tow place makes me a sheep, then color me woolly :P

Alcion is right. Who would want to risk getting a fine?

Um. The people that have been living in the neighborhood and parking there for two years and who suddenly see a homebrew sign appear. It wasn't like it looked legit :P
