Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

I voted for this article not because I like the result, but because I feel that things like this don't get enough coverage. To me, many many people should be outraged that this is allowed.

i would support all of bushs plans except torture with proper oversight.
EVeryone wants the terrorist listen too
everyone wants the country protected
that isnt the arguement.. we want proper american oversight. We have already increased the length of time you can spy without going to fisa and yet that doesnt seem to be good enough. If bush needs a year to go to fisa, that is fine with me, but he needs to end up there.
If ruling on Katz vs the US you will see why this is so desperately needed because administrations have a proponderance for finding dissenters of their opinion to be enemies of the state
Thats why we spyed on john lennon, it wasnt that he was an enemy to the us, it was because he could harm the elections for the party in power.

There is just such potential for the misuse of these safe-guards if we give them up.There are no certainties that anyone and everyone can't be un-lawfully spied on with what would be considered amicable evidence on anything.Coupled the suspension of habeus corpus this could be considered an outright offensive measure against the American public by our government. It might not,but all the same, taking that chance isn't going to make us any safer.

We have to get these clowns out of office!

Perverted Congressman? Legalized wire-tapping & torture? This is crazy!

Canada's looking pretty good right now.

F*** a duck, they've done it again. This administration never ceases to amaze me; as bush said himself, they are constantly thinking of new ways to harm our country.
