This will be cool, though I'm sad there won't be anymore Star Wars movies.

I can't wait to see how he ruins the already great Clone Wars series (or microseries, whatever).

Of course there will be new star wars movies. George wont live forever and who ever owns the rights will want to make money. A Vong trilogy would be really cool.

A Vong trilogy would require at least the Zahn trilogy to be made first... so that's, what, 12 Star Wars movies we'd be totalling now?

Nah would be 6 movies. 2 Trilogies.

The Zahn, while would be really good, I think they actors are already too old to do. We would have needed to do that in the early to mid 90's at the latest. In a few more years they will be at the right age for the Vong trilogy. Maybe another 10 years at most.

Oh no, I meant all the movies together. Two more trilogies, plus two existing trilogies, would be 12 movies. And while I'd like a Vong trilogy, I can't say I see it making much sense to many of the fans without at least establishing the kids using the Zahn trilogy. How are we supposed to care that Anakin dies if we were just introduced to him? (Granted, he would probably die somewhere in the second movie if it were a trilogy, but still).

The same way you cared about Obi wan when they killed him off in Star Wars. Granted it didnt quite work with Qui-gon but he was kinda lame anyway.

And you know in 20-30 years (if that long) they will remake the original trilogy with new actors and maybe even change the story some.

So what is the Clone War cartoon showing on Cartoon Network if not the one mentioned in the article?

They were a series of twenty 3-minute cartoons and five 15-minute cartoons. They were good. I think these are going to be actual 30-minute CG episodes.

I've heard that there's supposed to be a live action TV show with 100 or so episodes. They were waiting until after the 4th Indiana Jones movie came out I think.
