It is not a prerequisite of the faith of Islam to cover the face. Anyone who covers their face is either trying to hide something or is simply being rude - and whether muslims like it or not, in our society, this is unacceptable.
It's about time more public figures took Jack Straw's lead and spoke up about these intimidating figures who walk amongst us like ghosts and expect to be treated differently on one hand and equally on the other.
If you want a voice anonymity is not an option.
