this is definitely going to have some financial implications for US companies. Looks like it would be a good idea to research to find a few stocks that can be evaluated for this change. South America is crazy with their policies
Foreign involvement in the exploitation of Bolivia's natural resources has consistently impoverished rather than enriched its people - Potosà is the classic example, but it's been the same story over and over again for five hundred years now.
Bolivians are anything but crazy in deciding to change that situation, and the fact that your only interest in the matter is in how it might affect your portfolio is depressing to say the least.
