Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

She probably divorced him because he likes to talk dirty in bed.

What I find amazing is that so far as I know being married didn't kill off any of his genius. Seems to me that most women have a way of killing off important areas of the male brain by a process known as Bishcunnaggalitus. Fricken useless women!

That said I would really like to start dating again so any women interested please call me at 555-5243

I think that is just rumor.. I mean the guy who has the job of measuring animal penises and coming up with an overall average would probably have a very small penis and perhaps he was using a ruler that his mommy gave him to make him feel better that replaces cm with inch.

My physics was bang on when he criticised Hawking for being comparitively selfish and unappreciative. OK, so he may be a genius, but to divorce two women who have made so many sacrifices to look after and care for you? It seems a tad arrogant of him to not recognise how his first wife tended to him when he first contracted the disease, and yet here he is at it again.

Hey the first one got compensated with genius seed for the family. What more do you want? geez.. Anyways.. this shouldn't be public news and no opinions matter here so I'm bouncing out of this.. but first.. People get divorced. Hawking doesn't have to stay with some one who sacrificed for him because who knows, maybe she had some resentment that she showed all the time or any other number of possible issues.. WTF should the guy thank anyone who is willing to talk to him because he is a cripple? Dude is just a smart guy living his life with what he has and is just as flawed as you and I.

I have a feeling your teacher is either unmarried himself or whipped beyond belief. I'd be curious to know which is the case.

He's happily married with a son. As far as I'm aware, he's not been whipped beyond belief either.

The amount of whipidation is not exactly something that you flaunt. I don't know, I suppose to me it just seems odd that a teacher should share such criticism of a person who he surely has never met. Everyone has different things that they want from life and how compatible 2 people are is really only known by those 2 people. Most marriages that work in my opinion come from acceptance of the fact that you need to make the best with what you have and who you are with but if 1 person is not at ease with that then neither one can be happy.

All people are different, who are we to criticize personal choices?

Talk about timing. Law & Order CI just had an episode exactly like this. A person who was obviously a fictional representation of Hawking tries to frame his second wife and get back together with his first wife and daughter. I wonder if it was public news for a long time before this that Hawking wanted to get a divorce, other wise Law & Order CI just had an amazing coincidence.
