And I always thought they were a couple decades behind. I guess it's time we catch up.
In related news, US fundamentalist groups frantically lobby Washington to begin construction on a US-Mexico border fence as soon as humanly possible.

Well well well.. good job Mexico you beat out the US in something. You allow gays to enter civil union. Not what i would have chosen to try and beat america to. I can see some good things coming from this. Queer eye for the Aztec, Guillermo and Grace and so on and so forth. Maybe the marache musicians will stray away from the dark depressing regalia and switch to a spring pastel with some steve madden boots to match.
