    Excellent point. Rocket fire into Israel costs Palestinian lives, but they keep doing it.

    They must want their friends killed.

    Can't think of another reason for doing it.

          Palestinians, of course. Well, they could also start talking for a change. They might have something in common. After all, they have been neighbours for quite some time now.

            I think they should, in the following order:

            (1) Stop firing missiles full stop, in the interests of their own safety and that of other Palestinians as much of Israelis

            (2) Drop their commitment to the destruction of a UN recognised legitimate state (Israel, for the avoidance of doubt)

            (3) As you say, start talking
