Attacks on Baghdad Green Zone
WHAT'S THE GREEN ZONE? Also called the International Zone, it's the heavily protected area in central Baghdad that holds the U.S. and British embassies, the Iraqi parliament and prime minister's office.
OPEN TO ATTACK: A U.N. report in June said insurgents had bombarded the area with rockets and mortar fire more than 80 times since March.
CASUALTIES: Nearly 30 people have been reportedly killed in the barrages.

Perhaps reverse some of that to read "the occupiers must make the tough decisions and accept responsibility for their creating the present conditions under which not even the worlds most armed superpower can control a disaster of their own production instead of seeking to shift responsibility to a small faction of the profitable arms market they have profited from.
Perhaps even more honestly they should declare victory wherein by stealth they have managed to steer the country into destroying itself rather than them having to do it for themselves.
As long as America controls the Dictator who inevitably will arise from this transparent lie of Democratic export which laughingly self pronounced 'rational' Americans still believe. (It's the political tooth fairy for real men) Then in real political terms it's business as usual.
What happened to "It's not as bad as the media make out" Conveniently forgotten? Must be nice to have the memory of a Goldfish and the pride of a suburban Napoleon as your shallow hypocrisy radiates globally.
If a sheepdog displayed the disfunction of the blight of conservative excuses for brain stems this countries been marinating in the last years there'd be no question it would be taken out and shot.
But the boil will not be lanced as long as the collective American mind sees this misadventure as mere acne on an otherwise Hollywood handsome face. Actually it's more like the nose on the collective face has been eaten away by syphilis.
