Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

I think there is absolutely no method possible to make the procedure painless. Causing unnatural death will cause pain to some degree, if not physical obviously mental for being on death row for any amount of time.

In halting the signing of any more death warrants, the governor said he wants to ensure the process does constitute cruel and unusual punishment, as some death penalty foes argued bitterly after Wednesday's execution.

How the truth comes out with the omission of one little word. They'll probably correct it soon, so I thought it nice to save for posterity.

Jeb: (in whiny voice) Oh, it hurts!!! Too bad.

Terrible story - executing anyone for any reason is simply barbaric act no matter what crimes they were guilty of.

Florida got rid of the electric chair after two inmates' heads caught fire during executions in the 1990s and another suffered a severe nosebleed in 2000. Lethal injection was portrayed as a more humane and more reliable process.

There is such thing as humane MURDER? I think I'm missing something here. *rolls eyes*

Regardless if he is a murderer he is still a human being and no human being should kill another human being. Yes I understand he might have done so, and even if there is 100% without a doubt evidence that he has done the crime, he still should not be put to death. No government should have the right to decide whether or not another person should die. I don't care how painless the procedure is. I don't care if death could happen in microseconds - murder is murder and the death penalty is legal revenge. Plain and simple. Disgusting no matter how you look at it.

I really hope this turns some sates around on the proccess of executing prisoners.

Execution is Murder, any way you cut the cake. Plain and Simple. And what makes the Death Penalty that much worse is that if there is even the slightest chance of executing a human being that could very well be innocent, because our own justice system has it flaws, is enough reason to abolish the Death Penalty nation wide.

        Period.
