Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

After all, tomatoes and tobacco are regulated by govt. Both have poisonous leaves. On a lighter note: I say plant the coca leaves in the same fields that bacterial laden spinach comes from and let the S. Am. leaders eat THOSE in a salad (do I hear a "Three Stooges" laugh here?). Then we'll find out who the real men are!

I'm guessing that it doesn't take a lot of coca salad to fill you up.

Never touch the stuff. Haven't been south of the border. Never wanted to go there. Never needed to. This story makes it even less likely. Travel should include intellect. You don't travel much do you?

There is a reason it's called the Third World. Not much to do except nothing. No opportunity there. They all try to come to the First World. Then, when they get here they can't let go of the Third World ways and so they bring those with them and sell them to the First World so they can send the $ back to the Third World so everyone there can get to the First World. GET IT?

So what's the Second World? It's the places people get to on the way to the First World. Sometimes they stay there...in limbo...just waiting for a sign. Poor things.

The first world is/was the US/NATO/"The West," the second world was the USSR/Warsaw Pact/"The Iron Curtain," the third world is/was that collection of countries that, either because of deliberate policy on their part or by virtue of being of no interest to either the US or USSR, remained unaligned throughout most of the Cold War in the 20th century.
