Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

I will always remember two things about Gerald Ford:

1. He altered John Kennedy's autopsy report to support the lone gunman magic bullet theoryof the Warren Commission.

2. Set the precedent for pardoning top level political criminals instead of letting them feel the full force and majesty of the law.

Thank you very f-ing much Ford!

"In President Ford, the world saw the best of America and America found a man whose character and leadership would bring calm and healing to one of the most divisive moments in our nation's history," President Bush said in his eulogy.

I can see it now... at GW's funeral... share this moment with me:

"In President Bush, the world saw the absolute worst of America and America found a man whose character and leadership would bring agitation and destruction to one of the most divisive moments in our nation's history," President oldfogey said in his eulogy.
