Praise Jesus we were able to keep the core values of these students from being tainted by some sicko who paints in his free time...

Are you kidding? There's nothing wrong with this guy painting his ass. I don't think this is less wholesome than the core values of high school students. I don't know when you graduated high school, but I don't think kids are negatively impacted in any way by this guy's art.

It's a well-known fact that children are impressionable morons who routinely fall victim to suggestion. Imagine that little Johnny is being taught by this man. Everything is fine until one day he learns the teacher makes paintings with his butt. Now every time he sees this teacher he's reminded of butts. Day in and day out his young, idiot, brain is assaulted with butt imagery. Obviously, it's only a matter of time before Johnny is trying to elope with the shortstop from his Little League team and mankind is doomed to extinction by the chain-reaction of faggotry this event sets off. Is that what you want? The extinction of mankind!?

Damn liberals.

Kids can't be morons. They're not adults.

The decision also is in keeping with court rulings that hold that teachers are expected to lead by example and be role models...

Whose example should the teachers follow? Do role models drink liquor? Smoke cigarettes? Go to church every Sunday?

If you delve into the personal lives of every teacher and staff member government schools would collapse from the exodus of personnel.

I sincerely doubt the high schoolers were running out to paint with their asses. They probably just thought it was hilarious to discover that their teacher did such a thing.

I hope that he appeals this. It seems to me that he would have a pretty strong 1st amendment case. It's not as though creating art with your butt is immoral.

Right. It's weird, no doubt, but it's his own private life. What if a teacher were a stand up comedian with a filthy act on the weekends? Should they be fired too? They need to be allowed to have a private life.
