Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

China should be like this, China should be like that. Iran should be like this, Iran should be like that. Country X should be like this, Country X should be like that.

I wonder if other countries also say, "the US should be like this, The US should be like that" as often as we tell others how they should be. It seems to me, we keep on telling others how they should be.

You don't need to wonder for long, go to any news site and pick a random international story and you are nearly guaranteed to get some version of that. A few bigger ones, is what everybody thinks the US should do in Darfur, Iraq, Africa in general, Poland on defense topics, and the list goes on forever.

But that's the nature of things, everybody has an opinion, and I find it interesting what others think. People (and countries) typically will tell you what you for them all day long or how they could do whatever you are doing better.

The important question missing from nearly all articles about China's currency is how are they accomplishing an undervalued yuan? The answer to that question tells you why the administration is smart to not go hardcore on them to change it. And more recent developments also answers why they are getting a little more pushy as well.
