Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

I have heard that the request was also made for extended relatives to have access as well, anyone got any info on that?

All the accusations of what has been requested have been from unnamed sources... when the fact is that the request for a non-stop plane came from Bill Livingood, the House sergeant-at-arms appointed to his job in 1995 by former Speaker Hastert.

And it doesn't matter whether or not there was a request for extended relatives ... it's not gonna happen. And that's not what the Republican House leadership criticized today ... they criticized the size of the plane.

It's the equivalent of "when you don't have a leg to stand on in an argument, attack the other person."

And it's too often reflective of what passes for politics in this country -- partisan crapola.

And away we go... somewhere, there is a brainstorming room full of Republicans whose sole purpose is to manufacture this kind of nonsense.

It is called the K Street Project and they live on as the multitude of think tanks funded by oil.
