What's this?
Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

So in the end it's either a first black president or a first femal president. Given that, and given how America has acted in the past, the Republicans may have more than a chance this time... again.

The speech he made announcing his run was brilliant. He hit every major key that strikes a cord with people these days. He is inspiring people to work together, not score partisan points. I enjoyed his section on how politicians make these promises all the time and that people have heard it before but what he wants to do is work with everyday people to get the work done. It sounded so fresh (and was a great strategy).

The man could turn any political speech and turn it great, but this speech was perfectly tailored to fit his image and was actually inspiring instead of "by the numbers".

I wrote an article here about something that probably won't be much commented upon in this election: Obama's campaign logo. It's something that will probably become pretty ubiquitous over the next year.

Obama's logo kicks Hillary's logo's ass.
