Hilarious! I can see it now:

Principal : "Lock everything down, Batman just crossed campus!"

Student : "But doesn't Batman stand for good and fight evil?"

I wish we could go back to a time when America wasn't crippled by fear.

No one should feel bad. He did that to Commisioner Gordon ALL THE TIME.

(Wow, I just singled myself out as a huge nerd. HA)

This is great. a Batman sighting, reported by a student I assume, puts all these schools on lockdown. So now we have white powder in envelopes, bomb scares, false fire alarms and Batman to deal with.

You know my kid always tells me he sees Spiderman and other super heroes swinging their webs or flying away. It's called an imagination. While an imagination can be dangerous if the person who dreams up these fictional character appearances thinks that they are real. I don't suppose the danger extends to other students and schools.

But really, why stop with just those schools? Batman has nearly unlimited resources for bat copters, jets, boats, cars, (and apparently the bat camel that helped in his last escape) so lets close down the schools for that entire state..

        weird story, indeed.

Oh, @!$%#. Sounds like he might be recruiting a new Robin. Did we learn nothing from the death of Jason Todd?*

*You don't know who Jason Todd is? Dick Grayson's replacement? Killed by the Joker? Well, they did bring him back as the Red Hood and all, but... Christ. Forget I mentioned it.

          I don't know...

I mean, if there's something in the area that's terrifying enough to chase Batman away, you might have a serious problem on your hands.

We're assuming it was male, although they did have a mask on

          That's what she said!
