Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

To a certain extent, I would have to agree that the Chinese government is doing a good thing in trying to crackdown on on-line pornography. I know a lot of people here in the US would agree that this is a positive thing for all of China's youth, but deep down they are thinking "where is their freedom of speech?" Well, as good as freedom of speech may be, it does have some downsides in today's society. I really can't imagine that our forefathers were thinking about pornography when they wrote the Constitution. With that said, the Chinese government is just trying to protect its people. It shouldn't be viewed as the government taking over their lives and controlling their every move.

In a show and tell kind of way doesn't some porn, I guess light porn appear in the many "anatomical medical journals of who, why and how". Not advocating child use of the pornagraphic industries many websites but surely there is a better way to navigate the use of such sites away from children, or is this the same as finding grandpa's girly magazine unexpectedly?
