What's funny is that even thought Amazon's A9 came out with this same feature a while ago (even though they eventually removed it). They didn't get this much press, though.Oh, Google.

    I really don't think this should be an issue. They are on public ground and I don't see how this is any different from me going on the street and taking photos - or better yet the news. I think Google is going above and beyond allowing for people to "alert" them that they want off.

    I hope they don't scratch this feature, it is pretty sweet.

      Certainly, Google Street Views will raise a lot of privacy concerns; though, these pictures are taken in public spaces and from my point of view, our private life is not menaced. There should be a bigger concern regarding the use of camera phones. Everyone with a camera phone can intrude our privacy much more easy than Google does.
