How much Pull does Blockbuster still carry?

I thought they were in trouble themselves.

Yet another reason Blockbuster is becoming increasingly irrelevant.

For years, they got away with offering a limited selection of carefully chosen movies -and people ate it up because they had little choice. Then they imposed draconian late fees, and people ate it up because they had no choice.

But then came Netflix, movies mailed to you, and from a vastly larger library. And no late fees.

Now that Blockbuster finds people have a choice and rentals are down, you'd think they'd have learned and might reconsider their "our way or the highway" plan. But nope. It's blu ray or nothing.

    Feh.

Listen up Blockbuster: my choice is to rent nothing from you. I don't like the way you do business. I don't like companies that try to think for the customer. Thankfully we have lots of options for our entertainment dollar so you won't be missed by anyone.
