I moved to this town in Feb. 06. I am a C4-5 quad. I can't find a doctor who will take care of me. The doctor I was linked with through Community Care program would not see me. I made an appointment for my husband and me and I had to wait outside in the car for a hour because they wouldn't let me in. Every doctor I have seen has refused me. I went to one doctor to have my elbow looked at and she sent me to the ER. I have been using the ER for my doctor and they will only give me my medicines every 2 weeks. From not being treated properly I am dieing. I broke my ankle from my spasms because I had no medicine. The orthopedic wouldn't set my foot, look at it, or give me any medication. Now I have a hole on top of my foot and in my heal. I am scared of losing my foot! Now the ER tells me they can no longer see me I need to go to a doctor at LSU (2 1/2 hour from me); I called medical transportation and they can't take me without a Dr. referable, But I don't have a doctor. I can't take a bath. I need tub bench, reacher, wheelchair, etc...but you have to have a doctor prescription...but I have no doctor. My body is shutting down! I need HELP!! I hope that this movie will make more people aware of the problem and start changing our laws! God Bless. Angelvl

    More Than Happy

'Defense'... what would that be - "everything is just ducky, no need to worry!"?

Our system is pathetic. Exhibit A of that fact is that no one really knows the whole picture.

I created a mash up video about the health-care issue brought up by Michael Moore in Sicko. Take a look
