I wish him luck. But, I really doubt he's got it in him to win another title. But, hey, why doesn't he just buy a Frisbee, spray paint it gold, staple it to a weight belt and call himself champ? It'd mean about as much as anyone Else's belt.
If boxing is to survive, it needs it's integrity restored. There are too many weight divisions. There are too many sanctioning bodies, each with their own champions within each of those divisions. There are too many decisions in which the judges appear to have been watching a different fight than everyone else saw. All this needs to be cleaned up if boxing is to become a mainstream sport again. I'd like to see that happen. But, with MMA on the rise, I'd say boxing is likely to continue it's slide toward obscurity.
