This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

I guess it's easier to say "Support Our Troops" than to actually do it.

"Through outreach efforts, the VA ensures returning Global War on Terror service members have access to the widely recognized quality health care they have earned including services such as prosthetics or mental health care,"

Why is "Global War on Terror" capitalized? It's not a proper noun.

Yes this is how troops should be supported. Not by empty rhetoric

"Unless systemic and drastic measures are instituted immediately, the costs to these veterans, their families, and our nation will be incalculable, including broken families, a new generation of unemployed and homeless veterans, increases in drug abuse and alcoholism, and crushing burdens on the health care delivery system,"

Sounds like the returning veterans of Vietnam. A "conflict" in which we fought an enemy we could not define or recognize and attempted to fight in as humane way as possible. Oh, and a "conflict" that we pulled out of because we could not be succesful.

"Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it" -George Santayana.

ALERT: The Veterans Affairs state the #'s of Veterans who suicide each and every year!

Most Americans and Veterans I talked with was not watching C-Span2 on 16MAY2007, so far I only run across on other Veteran who stated he say the hearing, where the US Senate Committee on Veterans Affairs hear the testimony the Veterans Affairs gave:

That each and every year 5,000 Veterans are suicide and many 4+) times that number are going to jail each and every year.

To use the word many used by the Veterans Affairs is intent to mislead:

    1. Many in the dictionary means more than 3 and as much as infinity.
    2. If the number of Veterans go to jail each year was say 4 x 5,000=20,000, why not just say 20,000 Veterans go to jail each year. 3. For the VA having to state 5,000 Veterans are suicide each and every year, that is a scary number, when Americans screamed that in 2006 106 US Army soldiers did suicide, then in 2007 122 US Army soldiers did suicide, and Americans were upset about it.

So I wonder why the VA did not just say 20,000 o 30,000 Veterans go to jail each and every year, when they stated that 5,000 Veterans suicide each and every year. Unless the true facts of the number of Veterans who go to jail each year is so high, that the shock would shadow the shock one feels that 5,000 Veterans do suicide each:

The VA stated that many times the 5,000 who suicide each year are going to jail each and every year.

Take out the word many, and replace with the number the Webster dictionary states many is equal too:

The VA states that 4 to an infinity number times the 5,000 who suicide each year are going to jail each and every year.

5,000 Veterans suicide each year and
(Four too infinity) times 5,000 = the number of Veterans who go to jail each year.

A question: Since the Iraq war, 137,000 plus Veterans are dead by suicide or in jail, how many years will it take the 130,000 US soldier who live through the Iraq War to be dead by suicide or in jail when they become a Veteran?
