I'm glad to see that Edwards is speaking out about this deal. It seems to me that selling $20 billion worth of weapons to our Arab "friends" isn't the smartest move, when our volatile "friendships" in the Middle East are apt to change virtually overnight.

Edwards is right about the risk of an escalating arms race with Iran, but then again the Iranians seem to be moving along in their weapons programs quite swiftly already, without this potential threat. Oh well, I guess we need more intrigue to spice up the Middle East anyway...
