Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Hungary - Italy 3-1

Hungary produced a stunning second-half display, scoring three times to turn around a one-goal deficit against world champions Italy in Budapest. Italy took the lead through Antonio Di Natale after 49 minutes but Roland Juhász equalised 12 minutes later, before a Zoltán Gera penalty and a Robert Seczesin strike settled matters in the hosts' favour.

The big problem here is that the U.S. lacks experienced, world class forwards, plain and simple. They started two midfielders in the forward spot, one replacing Brian Ching who is fine for MLS, but is not who I would want to depend on at this level. We're in trouble in this department and I think will have to bring up Altidore more quickly than the coaching staff may have hoped.

Still, I'm hopeful that some of the other forwards we're getting into the system now like Kamani Hill and Charlie Davies will be able to come along in time for the World Cup. Then of course there's the maddening case of Eddie Johnson--so much talent that fails to materialize on the world stage.
