Boston Legal: BuddyTV Fall 2007 Preview

HensonA surprise Emmy nominee for Outstanding Drama Series, Boston Legal returns for its fourth season on Tuesday, September 25 with a 90-minute episode starting at 9:30pm, immediately following the first Dancing with the Stars performance show. The next week, it debuts in its regular time slot at 10pm. The show, created by David E. Kelley, is a spin-off of The Practice about the wacky and often inspiring lawyers at Crane, Poole and Schmidt.

Season 4 of Boston Legal features some big cast shake-ups. Mark Valley, Julie Bowen, Constance Zimmer and Rene Auberjonois are all out as series regulars while frequent guest star Christian Clemenson as well as newbies Tara Summers, Taraji P. Henson and John Larroquette are in. Massive cast changes are nothing new for the show, which has seen names added and dropped from the opening credits at the start of every season. Despite this, at the core of Boston Legal remains the devoted and well-acted friendship of Alan Shore (James Spader) and Denny Crane (William Shatner) that fans have grown to love.
