Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

"It requires that everybody be covered. It requires that everybody get preventive care," he told a crowd sitting in lawn chairs in front of the Cedar County Courthouse. "If you are going to be in the system, you can't choose not to go to the doctor for 20 years. You have to go in and be checked and make sure that you are OK."

Lemme get this straight. "The Party of Choice" tells me I CANNOT CHOOSE the doctor I go to? It REQUIRES that I get preventive care? But choice? Freedom? Isn't that what the Democratic Party is all about?

Cheers,
P9

So, let me get this straight. The party that supports a women's right to choose, that the government should stay out of people's medical decisions, now wants to mandate my medical decisions.

The irony would be hilarious if this weren't so scary...
