Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Classic Ernie Chambers. You may not always agree with what he says or how he says it, but he's always outspoken about just about everything. I thought his term would have been up by now.

What process server gets the honor of being ritually executed, that he might travel to the afterlife in order to serve the papers on the Almighty? This is actually rather amusing!

I'm deeply sorry for people like Sen. Ernie Chambers. It is true that God is judging us hard, but he never, ever sends suffering without a warning. If you notice the countries that have been suffering God's judgements are the ones that do not follow God's commandments. Believe me, what is happening is nothing compared to what is comming. Just read the book of revelation and you will know. I thank the Lord because he had promised for those who have believed in Him eternal life in a place where there will not be any suffering. All the things that are happening now are written in the Holy Bible.

"All the things that are happening now are written in the Holy Bible."

Yeah. Okay. I don't recall seeing any of this specifically being written in the Bible. It's a matter of interpretation, my friend. It's great that you're so comfortable with your faith. Too bad you feel it's your job to make everyone else feel the same way.

"Believe me, what is happening is nothing compared to what is comming. Just read the book of revelation and you will know."

The zealots have been saying this for centuries. If you really want to make an impression, you all should get together and come up with a new motto.

The thing is, from what I've read, here and elsewhere, the "frivolous" lawsuit he is protesting doesn't seem that frivolous, and is getting completely lost in this and more recent AP articles.

"...a federal suit filed against a judge who recently barred words such as "rape" and "victim" from a sexual assault trial."

This was filed as a Federal lawsuit because it is charging the judge with constitutional freedom of speech violations.

Though I could see where prohibiting a rape victim from using the words "rape" and "victim" in the case against the rapist might be filed on universal common sense grounds. (From another article I've read it wasn't words "such as "rape" and "victim" " but specifically, the exact words, "rape" and "victim".)

But Ernie feels a rape victim's right to speak the truth in a courthouse is, ... "frivolous", and now almost everyone is chuckling about this story and all warm and happy.

I really don't know all the details, but something smells bad about the "ban" by the judge. And I suspect that Ernie is a friend of the judge or the rapist, and I know Ernie doesn't give a damn about wasting taxpayer's money or people's time.
