Dozens? The SPLC maps 2 dozen hate groups in Louisana alone.
Seven of them are black separatist groups, but still there are 7 White nationalist, 1 Christian Identity , 6 Klan, 2 Neo-Nazi, and 1 Neo-Confederate.
If your guess is a few dozen white supremacist or other hate groups nation-wide, I'm sad to say that your far too optimistic in this world.

I agree Byronsnake. Often in some of my classes, we have discussions about whether or not racism still exists. Some people have the audacity to say they do not think so. The case of the Jena 6 and this alleged website is just a blatant form. There is a lot of discreet racism that some people pretend not to see or if they do, it's not spoken of outside of closed doors. It's amazing though, because eventually due to a rise in interracial dating, especially with Black people, everyone will directly be mixed with something. Then what will this racists and bigots have to say? It'll be their grandchildren who are [insert horrible racial slur you hopefully never use]!

I think you miss something.
Black people have always been the product of interracial relations in the USA. "Black" has always been defined by white people as no white. There are quite a few black people who have been black their whole lives and whose family is black and, unless something changes about the social construct of race, will always be black despite having no African ancestry.
When you add to this the fact that, mathematically speaking, as long as, a certain proportion of white people only procreate with other white people, the proportion of white people will remain more or less the same (excluding, of course, immigration in the case of the USA).
So, what I'm getting at is that you cannot breed racism out of a society. Race itself is a social construct and racism is a function of that social construct not a function of biology.

I feel like if this was a black student this happened to nothings at all would have been done and I,m black and from the south myself.And racists things go on all the time there and know does anything about it at all,and its not right at all.Its needs to stop and its the whole south know one just don't care because its not them that its being done to look at the girl in North Carolina.Harricane Katrina they don't want to help then but everyday almost in the news 9/11.People in the south need help to we are people just like anybody else,and its hurts because I have never been through salver but my people have.

if blacks put as much energy and money(jena 6) into cleaning up their own backyards and working on their attitudes and behavior, it would go a long, long way towards racial harmony. blacks are about 15/16 % of the U.S. population yet they are the most expensive(burden on taxpayers)of all the other races in this country. if nothing changes-nothing changes!
