KAMPALA — In a Dec. 7 story about Ebola in Uganda, The Associated Press reported erroneously that Scott Myhre, an American doctor working in the East African country, didn't wear a mask or other protective gear when treating patients before Ebola was confirmed. Myhre did wear a mask, but did not take special precautions against Ebola — including wearing goggles and boots — before the presence of the virus was confirmed.
