NEW YORK — Kelly Rowland tells People magazine in its March 17 issue that she had plastic surgery last October to bring her "from an A-cup to a B-cup."

As for the one-cup upgrade, Rowland says: "I didn't want to have double Ds and be a little bitty size 2 — that would look nuts!"

The 27-year-old singer went under the knife after a long decision-making process.

"I was sick of not fitting into my tops," she says. "There was this one really hot House of Dereon top — I just wanted to fill that out!"

Rowland says that top — designed by Beyonce's mom, Tina Knowles — complements her new curves: "I put it on and I looked so good! I'm so happy. I feel complete."

Rowland, who has released two solo albums, says she hesitated to discuss the surgery.

"It is a decision I made for myself. I like it, and that's all that counts. For young people: Think about it before you just jump off and do something (you may regret later)," she says.

I think it's great that Kelly did this to make herself happy. Like she said, she did not do anything crazy, she just upgraded one size! She does not flaunt herself in any way, and she presents herself very well. She also said that she has been thinking about breast implants since she was about 17 years old. So, obviously this wasn't a small deal to her. She put a lot of time and thought into her surgery, and I think that if it makes her happy about herself, then so be it!

I admire the way she came out and shared the personal experience with all of her fans. Why can't all celebrities be this straight forward? I truly believe the honesty makes many of today's hottest celebrities more likable. She does look great after her surgery and she gets nothing from me but support.

I'm glad to see the paparazzi is not making a huge deal about this plastic surgery like they do with every other one done by celebrities. I think it's perfectly understandable for someone to do something to feel better about themselves. It's also awesome that she stayed reasonable instead of making herself look fake.
