SAN ANTONIO — Denver Nuggets guard Allen Iverson has a small fracture on his right ring finger but played against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night. The team said X-rays taken Monday detected a non-displaced fracture at the end of the finger.

"That's the whole thing — if it don't get any worse, I think I can just play through the pain," Iverson said before the game Monday.

Iverson was injured in a game against the Spurs in Denver on Friday night.

"I'm happy he's going to play and knowing how tough he is I'm sure he'll still figure out how to be effective and efficient," Denver coach George Karl said before the game.

Iverson led the Nuggets with 28 points on 9-of-22 shooting in their 107-103 loss to the Spurs.

"Just sore. Throbbing some, which I expected," Iverson said after the game. "I was hoping to get hit on it to see how it would respond. But I never got hit on it. I just had to deal with the pain of it just being broken."
