WASHINGTON — Barack Obama has won the endorsement of four new superdelegates helping push him toward the Democratic presidential nomination, including a backer of rival Hillary Rodham Clinton.
The support comes the day after Obama's victory in North Carolina and closer than expected finish behind Clinton in Indiana.
Among the supporters is Virginia's Jennifer McClellan, who used to support Clinton.
The Obama campaign announced three other supporters — North Carolina Democratic Party Chairman Jerry Meek, North Carolina Democratic National Committee member Jeanette Council, and California DNC member Inola Henry.
Clinton picked up another delegate in Rep. Heath Shule, who said he would support whoever won his district in North Carolina.
Barring unforseen circumstances, Barry's got it cold.
Can we stop spending money fighting a sore loser?
The problem is that the Superdels can say anything they want now and vote differently at the convention. So talk of them being committed to one or the other really is a mute point.
Believe me, I still think Hill is a loser.
The so called supers are not stupid because a lot of them are elected officials and do want to be re-elected.
and how is hilary a looser
name one way
I don't know. She may be looser :-)
When you're trying to grow testicles to get support, then you know that you're in trouble.
So the past eight days, Clinton has a net gain of 7 delegates, super or otherwise. PA 10 + 4 supers - 7 Obama Supers = 7.
Thats math I can live with. It's also not a turning tide.

It's mostly a soap opera for the tabloids and cable news channels at this point. Very annoying.
I'm happy with just this news.
Obama now trails Clinton by 21 superdelegates, cutting her lead in half in less than two months, according to the latest Associated Press tally.
The wall's about to come tumbling down. Hillary's shooting blanks, now, she's got nothing but 527 ads to give her a shot at spoiling her into something - which will not unite Democratic Party leadership. Don't really know what her point is.
As a non-American I find this election process riveting but would also like to show my support for Mr Obama. Maybe others would be interested in this too -- www.alettertobarack.com
You can do that, doesn't hurt. We're an entertaining lot over here, what?
I work in a 'medical research' organization that primarily depends on earmarks in D.C., I can tell you for a fact that everyone is jumping through hoops and freaking out about the fact we might have D for President.
Yeah@ About time!
You don't even want to know what our spin docs are preparing--they are all ready to quit over the BS they are being forced to 'spin'..
He also has written a lengthy letter explaining his decision that he plans to send to other superdelegates.
Most excellent.. [rubs hands together Mr. Burns-style]
Obama want to raise your taxes, maybe if they sit back and decide that we are giving to much money away to help other country, cut government waste. Maybe our taxes would be able to go down.
Wake up Clinton is not dead in this race yet, and she stand a better chance of beating McCain.
You can't fight a trillion-dollar war and lower taxes. You have to give up at least one of those goals, and even then there will probably be such a budget deficit, with little hope of cutting current spending if lobbyism isn't curtailed, that you need more revenue somehow.
Man, Obama looks pleased as punch in that (current) first picture, haha. Looks like someone just told him he can run the entire rest of his campaign for free.
Except for Blumenthal's dirty tricks it should be a lot smoother sailing from here out.
