NAIROBI — A government spokesman says two Kenyan High Court judges have been sacked after an investigation found they received bribes to influence their verdicts.
Alfred Mutua said Saturday that former judges Vitalis Juma and Thomas Mbaluto had been found guilty by two tribunals and fired Friday. The government had not yet decided on further action. A third judge was found not guilty and reinstated.
None of the judges was immediately available for comment. The High Court is Kenya's highest judicial authority.
