JOHANNESBURG — Zimbabwe's opposition leaders are in South Africa for talks with regional leaders on the eve of a summit expected to focus on their country's political crisis.
Movement for Democratic Change spokesman George Sibotshiwe says opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai has meetings Friday with members of the Southern African Development Community's troika.
The troika includes the regional group's current chair, South Africa, which also is mediating power-sharing talks between Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe and the opposition.
Sibotshiwe says Tsvangirai and two top aides reached South Africa on Friday morning, a day after Zimbabwean officials briefly confiscated his travel documents.
