Michelle Obama says she's done having kids

WEST ST PAUL — Michelle Obama says she and Democrat Barack Obama probably won't have any more children because the presidential race is enough additional responsibility.

"I think I'm done," she told Ellen DeGeneres in an interview. "I think our third child is this campaign."

The Obamas have two daughters — Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7.

Michelle Obama, 44, also agreed with her husband's response to the news that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's teenage daughter was pregnant.

"This shouldn't be an issue for political discussion," Michelle Obama said.

Barack Obama has said people's families and children should be off limits in the presidential campaign.

Palin, the Republican vice presidential candidate, and her husband said this week their 17-year-old unmarried daughter was five months pregnant.

"I know that they care about their kids, and we should let them deal with this issue," Michelle Obama said.

The interview is scheduled to air Monday on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Oh yeah, let's leave the families out of this, but go on National TV to discuss it with Ellen.
Are we to leave out the fact that Michelle was not proud of America for her entire life? Or
the fact that they sat in church with the Rev. Wrong spewing hate toward America and the
"Whitey"? (Michelle's word in her Thesis)
Maybe Cindy McCain could go on National TV and bring these to the forefront again, but say
at the same time. That should be off limits.
