McGregor, Small lead Jacksonville against Campbell

JACKSONVILLE — Josh McGregor threw for 343 yards and two touchdowns to help lead Jacksonville to a 52-0 rout over Campbell on Saturday.

Rudell Small ran for 150 yards on 16 carries and scored on a 14-yard run in the first quarter as the Dolphins (2-1, 1-0 in the Pioneer Football League) totaled a school-record 621 yards of offense.

Jacksonville jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter when Elliot Finkley returned a punt 57 yards for a touchdown. Finkley scored again in the second on an 11-yard touchdown pass from McGregor, who completed 20-of-37 passes with an interception.

The Dolphins pushed their lead to 45-0 just before halftime when McGregor connected with Greg Louissaint for a 23-yard touchdown. Keith Dawson scored on a 64-yard run in the third.

Matt Vollono threw for 149 yards and two interceptions for the Camels (0-3, 0-1). Reshaun Brown, who had 40 yards rushing in the first half, finished with 66 yards on the ground.
